Quetzal

Iridescent quetzal feathers stem from the rare, brilliant Mesoamerican bird of the same name. They were sought after for the headdresses of the highest nobility and are symbolic of the celestial realm. Today, the Quetzal is reputed to be the most beautiful bird to exist on the American continents.
